KITSON-WRIGHT - This morning, Mr. Henry Norman Kitson and Miss Lillie Susan Wright were united by the Rev. J. P. Dumoulin in the bonds of holy wedlock. Being about to travel immediately after the ceremony, the happy bride was attired in a very neat drab travelling dress with pretty hat to suit. The church was very neatly draped with white lace festooned with choice flowers, and the choir, in honour of the bride, who is a co-labourer with them in the performance of the musical portion of the services of that church, gave very effectively a graceful and appropriate selection of music, Professor DeVine presiding at the organ. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Professor played 'Mendelsohn's Wedding March' while the bridal party were retiring. We could have wished to hear him play that fine composition on an organ better adapted to that purpose.

Yesterday, William Bowes called at the "Spectator" office and procured the insertion of a notice of a marriage between himself and a young lady in Buffalo.


To-day he handed in the following contradiction which we insert as an advertisement.

 

I, William Bowes, of Trafalgar, County of Halton, do contradict a marriage notice which appeared in last evening's Spectator of this city between Miss Annie Kerr and myself, and do say that said notice is false, and that I have never known said named lady.
