BERGAN-DOWN - At Newry, Ireland, on the 9th November, Mr. William Bergan, who boasted of having survived eight engagements, to Margaret Down, who has been five times led to the hymenial altar. The bridegroom, who lost his right eye at Salamanca, is eighty-five years of age, and the lady, who lost her left eye at Vinegar Hill, is seventy-five.
